How to transfer USDT from Coinbase to Binance

Want to swap your existing crypto on Coinbase for BNB on Binance? Follow the steps below to swap your existing crypto for USDT and then send to Binance.

Binance

1. Login to Binance.us
2. Click on the Wallet icon at the bottom of the screen, should be the middle icon.
3. Search for USDT to search for Tether, make sure the toggle is green so it is listed as a favorite, then hit the back arrow at the top left.
4. Click on Tether USDT
5. Click on Deposit
6. Review the warning regarding which network should be used. Coinbase uses ERC20.
7. Copy the ERC20 Wallet Address
8. Continue the process in Coinbase Below.

Coinbase

1. Login to Coinbase.com
2. Select on Assets at the bottom of the screen
3. Select asset which asset you would like to convert to USDT
4. Click on Trade
5. Convert [asset]
6. Type in USDT to search for Tether
7. Type in specific amount or click on Max, then click Preview convert
8. Verify details and click Convert now
9. You should see a screen which confirms the amount that you converted and click View account
10. The next screen will be the total amount of USDT in your Coinbase wallet
11. Click on the send icon (paper airplane) top right corner
12. Type in the amount you would like to send or Max, then click Continue
13. Type in the address for your USDT wallet on Binance [Binance Step #7], then click on Preview send
14. If you have 2-step verification setup, enter your 6-digit code, then click on Submit
15. Verify the details then click Send now
16. You should see a confirmation message with the amount that you sent
