Have you ever heard of a crypto dust attack?
Crypto dust is a trace amount of a cryptocurrency which is sent to thousands of wallet addresses. Scammers do this in hopes that wallet holders will interact with the dust currency to sell it for "free money."
The dust currency is usually a malicious contract. Interacting with (approving, transferring, selling) will give that contract access to your wallet and funds may be drained. Including other currencies you hold.
What should I do with Crypto Dust?
The short answer? Nothing. Ignore it.
If you use a wallet which automatically displays all currencies, like TrustWallet or Coinbase wallet, you can hide the dust currencies from view. Go ahead and google, "how to hide cryptocurrencies in <your wallet provider>".
Note: even if you hide the currency in your wallet, it will still be visible on the blockchain explorer (BSCscan, Etherscan, etc.). There is no way to hide it on the blockchain.
